Reopening of the Museum

The Museum of Discovery have finally reopened last August 21 after it was closed for renovations and repairs for over 6 months. The museum has experienced damages amounting to $7 million when various boiler pipes have burst and flooded the entire building during mid-February.

There are a lot of new experiences that the guests can look forward to in the new museum. This includes the extended Tinkering Studio and a facility for the animal care that you can now gaze upon from their huge bay window. Both of these spaces permit guest-staff engagement as well as public programming. Also, there are varieties of interactive exhibitions which take the place of those that were destroyed before. These include How People Make Things, Mystery of the Mayan Medallion, Magnificent Me, and Dinosaurs: Fossils Exposed.
