The Burns Park is one of the country’s largest municipals measuring 1,700 acres. The park features a covered bridge; log cabin, camping area; fishing pier that is handicapped-accessible; two 18-hole disc golf courses; 2 18-hole golf courses; 17 soccer fields; softball complex hiking trials; amusement park; 27 tennis courts; 3-acre dog park; equestrian trails and more.
Burns Park links to Arkansas River Trail’s 15-mile loop which includes the Clinton Presidential Bridge and Big Dam Bridge. Burns Park’s Mountain Biking Trails measures 14 miles and it can be reached easily from North Little Rock and Little Rock’s downtown. These trails highlight challenging rock gardens, fast, rocky downhills that has various loop options, and stout climbs.
